Job Title: Head of Procurement & Logistic - Temporary
Our client is a leading international company in the semiconductor sector.
The CEO reports directly to the resource who will lead and manage the Procurement & Logistics department, also taking care of the growth of the team reporting directly. Within 12-24 months, this individual will hand over the management to them.
Main Activities:
* Procurement Management: Control procurement budget and promote a culture.
* Strategic Development: Develop procurement strategies.
* Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with external suppliers to negotiate deals and maintain vendor relationships.
* Supply Chain Efficiency: Ensure high-quality goods and services are delivered to departments on time.
* Sourcing: Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
* Negotiation: Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
* Contract Review: Review existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing feasibility.
* Purchase Order Approval: Approve purchase orders and confirm delivery of goods and services.
* Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
* IT System Management: Oversee and manage IT systems tracking shipments, inventory, and supply of goods.
* Inventory Management: Keep inventory and materials targets as per budget.
* Partnerships: Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business partnerships.
* Risk Management: Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
Required Skills:
* Education: Master's Degree in Engineering or Physics.
* Experience: Previous experience in the role.
* Negotiation and Networking: Excellent negotiation and networking skills.
* Supply Chain Operations: Proven experience managing supply chain operations.
* Software Proficiency: Experience using supply chain management software (Oracle, SAP Ariba, Envision).
* Contract Preparation: In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
* Time Management: Multi-tasking and time-management skills with ability to prioritize tasks.
* Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Stress Management: Ability to handle work-related stress.
* Emergency Procedures: Knowledge of operating instructions for emergency situations and partial or total evacuation of the site.
