Its village, the Borgo and the whole Estate, are framed by the natural wonder of its green hills, surrounded by kilometres of vineyards and olive groves, warm sun and a light breeze.Castelfalfi is the perfect luxury hospitality destination for those who want to get away from the bustle of life and want to indulge a more relaxed and peaceful lifestyle in connection with nature and the many outdoor activities available on its premises.We couldn’t provide such outstanding experience without our passionate team members, who are at the heart of the Castelfalfi emotional connection that shows up in our hospitality vision and in our delightful caring touches.If you would like to be part of such unique environment, we are looking for an outstanding and super skilled Restaurant Manager.Main duties and responsibilitiesDirects the brigade service teams on a daily basis to ensure smooth operations, consistent excellence and guest satisfactionDevelops positive relations with guests and team members, whilst remaining professional and service oriented at all timesContributes to the development of food beverage product/offering to ensure that the restaurant continues to evolve, improve and prosperPlans, directs, controls, coordinate and participate in all areas and activities of the department, working closely with the FB managementMaintains a daily liaison and partnership with the kitchen team to share information, best practice and ensure a harmonious relationship between culinary and service teamsSupervises departmental food beverage stocks and requisitions so to ensure daily service requirements are met efficientlyKeeps a close overview of the wine and beverage stocks also conducting regular checks so that items are well kept and adequate to the businessIs responsible for the department people daily operations, participating in the delivering on-the-job trainingEnsures appropriate processes and systems are in place to control costs, delivers both revenue and profit margins as per budget projectionsHelps in obtaining maximum control of expenditure through effective use of manpower and physical assetsOrganises brigade schedule and supervise the team with a hands-on approach, ensuring the correct completion of all required tasks in a timely fashionImplements a regular communications with the brigade through daily line ups, 1:1’s and monthly full departmental team meetingsAttends any meeting required according to the planned scheduleChecks that pertinent back of house areas are always kept clean and in good working orderApply all safety and hygiene standards so that they are met at all times and that cleaning schedules and related equipment are well executed and organisedRequirements3 to 5 years’ working experience in a similar position and in Michelin restaurants or within the luxury hospitality industryHospitality degree, or equivalent, appreciatedMust be fluent in Italian with and English. A third European language would represent and advantageStrong leadership skills and service oriented and guest focused, talented in people management, performance driven, assertive and pleasant personalityExcellent communication skills in all aspects: verbal, written and non-verbalProficiency in using Microsoft OfficeSuperb organisational and interpersonal skills: you must be approachable, open-minded and fair, with perfect grooming standardsLong season full time contract in line with CCNL (Italian Collective Bargaining Agreement)Meals provided both when on duty and on days offUniforms and their laundryContinuous training to improve personal and professional skillsParticipation in events reserved for Castelfalfi team membersDiscounts on catering, wellness and sports activities present in the resort and on the estateAccommodation with free wi-fi may be provided upon request, if coming from outside the areaThis research is addressed to candidates of both genders with reference to Italian Law 903/77 and Law 125/91.This position is based in (FI), Tuscany, Italy.
