TXT e-Tech, part of TXT group, is looking for for a Software Engineer to join its Aerospace & Defence Business Unit. The candidate will be in charge of ensuring the performance and security of software solutions in accordance with current regulations, stressing Software and Hardware components to verify their robustness.
The ideal candidate has a strong aptitude for problem solving and proactivity, is able to work both in a team and individually, and is able to organize his/her own workload. He/she is motivated to grow professionally and learn new skills.
Main responsibilities:
Software Requirements Design and Writing;
Software Development and Architectural Design;
Unit, component and integration testing as well as Verification and Validation activities;
Involvement in Avionics Certification and Flight Test activities.
Technical skills required:
Knowledge of Software and Hardware principles;
Knowledge of at least one programming language (preferably C, C++ or Ada95).
Optional technical skills:
Basic knowledge of Software Development and Verification of RealTime systems;
Knowledge and use of the principles and the avionics protocols (AFDX, ARINC429, Mil 1553, CAN Bus, RS422/428/485);
Knowledge and use of the principles and the communication protocols TCP/IP, UDP, FTP;
Knowledge of DO-178B or C standards;
Knowledge of on-board application development;
Knowledge of basic flight principles of rotary or fixed wing aircraft and/or their operational or mission use;
Experience in barebone SW development (preferably in C);
Experience or familiarity with the use of partitioned Real-Time Embedded Operating Systems;
Knowledge of the use and/or principles of various file systems (FAT, NTFS, ext, etc...);
Education: Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecomunication Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Biomedical or similar.
