We are looking for a Senior Firmware Engineer to join our R&D team and contribute to design, develop and test firmware and libraries for microcontrollers/microprocessors used in Arduino or other embedded platforms (e.g. Yocto, Raspberry, etc.). What you'll work on
* Design, develop, code, test, debug and document embedded software (C++, C)
* Prototype a product solution from research to production
* Most of the code will be open-source, we require high quality when coding (clean code) and documenting
* Maintain and improve the code
* Spread the Arduino verb at conferences and with the developer community
* Write application level firmware based on company technology
What you bring
* At least 5 years experience in Firmware and libraries development (C, C++)
* Experience with JTAG and other debugging tools (gdb/valgrind)
* Extensive experience of Hardware debugging
* Fluent in English both verbal and written is mandatory
Bonus Points
* Knowledge of the Arduino ecosystem
* Experience with Zephyr
* Experience with Golang and/or Python
* Knowledge of IoT Protocols (MQTT, CoAP, TCP, UDP, AMQP) and Github
* Knowledge of fieldbus protocols
* Broad knowledge of git flow
* Testing frameworks for embedded code
