The Cyber Security Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cybersecurity strategies protecting company systems, networks, and data from external and internal threats. This role requires an in-depth understanding of security technologies, regulations, and cybersecurity best practices. Responsibilities: Designing security solutions to safeguard company systems and data, integrating them into projects from the early stages (security by design). Identifying vulnerabilities in existing systems and proposing corrective actions or mitigations. Collaborating with all teams to embed security best practices into business processes. Supporting security incidents management. Defining and updating policies in line with regulations and industry standards. Supporting internal training and awareness initiatives on cybersecurity topics. Keeping themselves updated on emerging threats and cybersecurity best practices. Key Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience. Previous experience in roles such as Cyber Security Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Solution Architect. Knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, cryptography, and security frameworks (e.g., NIST and ISO 27001). Understanding of cloud security principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Languages: Italian, English. Preferred Qualifications: Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP). Architectural certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solution Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Solution Architect, SABSA). Solid understanding of regulations and industry standards such as GDPR, NIS2, or PCI-DSS. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong learning ability and curiosity about new and evolving topics. Proactivity and a strong problem-solving mindset. Ability to manage projects and priorities effectively, with an organized approach. Teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and constructively within multidisciplinary teams.
