Job Description
As an HR Assistant, your role will directly contribute to providing a great employee experience to our workforce. In this role, you will work on a variety of core HR activities, supporting a large employee population within our continuously growing operational sites.
You will act as the first point of contact for our associates and managers for two locations, therefore traveling will be required. Given that most of our associates work during the night shift, it will be required to visit sites during evenings/early mornings on a monthly basis.
We offer a fixed-term contract of 12 months.
Key Job Responsibilities
* Work closely with HR leaders and management on HR-focused projects to create an engaging working environment.
* Manage day-to-day HR administration, such as procedures for new staff, self-service tools, and attendance reviews.
* Use internal dashboards to generate reports for your site management.
* Plan initiatives to promote the well-being and experience of on-site staff.
* Perform audits to ensure compliance with business processes, data protection, local labor regulations, and human resources procedures.

Basic Qualifications
1. Education and/or experience in HR administration.
2. Effective communication skills, including presentation skills. You need to be able to inspire and earn trust with our associates and managers.
3. Experience using Microsoft Office packages, in particular, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
4. Flexible to travel - the role is responsible for 2 locations.
5. Highly proficient in both spoken and written Italian language. Good command of English (Common European Framework of Reference B1).
6. Analytical skills (able to identify problems and root causes, work with numbers, data, run metrics, and pull reports).
7. Confidentiality and composure when dealing with sensitive data and confidential information.
8. Able to work independently and autonomously as well as working productively in a team setting.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Knowledge of local employment law, employee relations practices, and Payroll would be advantageous.
2. Experience managing HR information systems for data entry and time and attendance monitoring.
3. Experience dealing with an operational workforce in a similar industry or in factories.
