POSITION: Product Owner
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Responsible for driving the execution of all product processes in the product lifecycle for a scrum pod.
* Collaborate with Workstream Lead to manage and prioritize product backlog/features.
* Ensure the delivery team delivers value to customers with each iteration.
* Analyze product and market research.
* Be knowledgeable with respect to the competition.
* Collaborate on definition of product or feature requirements and prioritize based on data-driven decisions.
* Track and report on OKRs and KPIs.
* Closely collaborate with scrum lead, product designers, engineers, QA, and business subject matter experts in the design, development, and testing of product or feature.
* Act as a product management resource and assist with the growth of the discipline across the organization.
* Other product duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
* A curious approach to understand and solve problems.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with all levels of stakeholders, both internal and external to the organization.
* Ability to analyze user and market research.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to give effective presentations to all levels of the organization and engage with clients.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and excel in a fast-paced environment.
EDUCATION:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:
* 2+ years of product management experience plus 3+ years of relevant experience.
* Proven success in shipping product(s).
* Experience working in a cross-functional team environment.
* Experience with B2B2C products is preferred.
* Mobility industry experience is an asset but not required.
As a testament to our commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, our salary bands are transparent both internally and as a part of our external recruitment process. The targets for this role are dependent on market/geographic location and range from $90,000 to $160,000 CAD.
