For more information, please visit marini.fayat.com Role Our company, a market leader in the construction of bitumen plants, is looking for a serious and professional person to take on the role of Production Planner, who, with the support of several collaborators, will have to manage and coordinate the following activities: Planning long lead time materials for the construction of the plants. Critically processes the dedicated contract materials for the realisation of the plants and forwards the procurement requests to the purchasing department. It maintains the correct balance of suppliers in accordance with their production capacities and existing agreements. Maintains in the system the correctness of lead times and stocks and the parameterisation of master management data. Opens production orders for the factory (carpentry, painting, assembly). Monitors the progress of purchase orders by liaising with suppliers and solicits materials for compliance with deliveries. He/she monitors the progress of production orders through collaboration with the production coordinator and workshop manager. Manages possible delays from suppliers by informing downstream entities and the project manager of delays and possible consequences. Manages corrective actions and improvement plans in cooperation with the purchasing department in an attempt to improve the supplier process. Participates in meetings with workshop and after sales representatives to coordinate activities, bringing any critical issues and sharing risk management. Handles problems arising from technical changes, material additions under lead time or due to lack of or replacement of defective parts on site, with a sense of urgency and a problem solving attitude. Identifies and participates in the methodology of materials management and servicing through Kanban, reorder batches and dedicated techniques. The Candidate Must Meet The Following Requirements Diploma or degree in scientific/economic disciplines; Experience of 3-5 years in the role within structured companies operating in an industrial context; Aptitude for problem solving, planning and working to objectives; Ability to manage a team and be a facilitator in relationships.
