This position reports to Business Manager - Commercial & Portfolio Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to support proactive business development aligned with the division's strategy in countries where business conditions require increased attention and focus. Each day, you will provide business support, including expertise in products, applications, solutions, and segment and customer support for the assigned product portfolio, ensuring sustainable deployment of the division's strategic plan. You will also showcase your expertise by facilitating activities to drive profitable business growth. The work model for the role is: LI-Hybrid. This role is contributing to the NEMA Motors Division in Italy in order to increase market share and end-user pull, to make ABB the supplier of choice in each of our target industry segments. You will be mainly accountable for: Supporting the process of defining marketing and sales targets and establishing appropriate metrics and measurement tools to effectively monitor performance in the region in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders. Ensuring profitable business growth focused on orders, revenues, margins, market shares, and customer satisfaction, as well as the implementation of particular product, application, and segment initiatives in close collaboration with the division stakeholders. Conducting market research and analyzing data to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape. Implementing activities for agreed cross-divisional, product group, and regional initiatives. Qualifications for the role You enjoy working with customers and building strong partnerships with them. Ability to demonstrate your experience in market development, preferably in the industrial segments such as HVAC, Water, Plastic, and Metals. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development. Degree in Economy or Engineering. You are at ease communicating in Italian and English.
