POSITION SUMMARY
We're seeking a Marketing and Event Coordinator to support our Castelli marketing team at our Italian headquarters in Fonzaso (BL).
This role plays a crucial part in our go-to-market efforts in Italy, collaborating closely with the Italian Sales and Marketing team to plan and execute regional and local marketing activities both online and offline.
The focus is on aligning brand goals with business needs and translating them into a cohesive, results-driven marketing plan that enhances brand leadership, awareness, and demand to drive business growth in Italy.
A key aspect of this role is managing high-impact events in collaboration with partners such as RCS, Maratona dles Dolomites, among others.
The coordinator will be responsible for reinforcing Castelli's market presence, promoting new products and initiatives through events, and fostering strong relationships with sponsors, partners, and customers.
Success in this role requires juggling multiple responsibilities, staying within budget, and handling last-minute challenges with efficiency.
The ideal candidate will ensure that all events and marketing initiatives align seamlessly with our broader communication and brand strategy.
THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Develop and implement a marketing strategy aligned with global initiatives in collaboration with the marketing team.
* Partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Brand Marketing offices, Digital and Social business units, creative designers, photographers, and product marketing to ensure a coordinated and consistent message across all customer touchpoints.
* Build and manage annual and seasonal marketing calendars with the Global Marketing Office, including all functions and touchpoints.
* Anually planning and financial budgeting in cooperation with members of the marketing team.
* Maintain relationships with cycling media, customers, and industry contacts.
* Create social content to improve performance and channel optimization with the marketing team.
* Promote new products, initiatives, and campaigns through events.
* Build strong relationships with sponsors, partners, and customers.
* Organize events that attract new business and strengthen brand positioning.
* Ensure events effectively communicate the company's identity and messaging.
* Increase employee and stakeholder participation in company events.
QUALIFICATIONS
* A highly results-driven marketer with 2+ years of marketing communication experience in the cycling or outdoor space.
* A high level of energy, passion, and enthusiasm for cycling.
* Excellent Italian communication skills (written and verbal).
* Proven experience creating and executing a wide variety of marketing programs that have driven results across channels and touchpoints.
* Strong ability to think creatively and strategically in terms of brand and customer growth.
* Extremely organized with a keen eye for details, able to drive and manage big projects.
* Ability to manage multiple responsibilities without losing sight of the big picture.
* Ability to meet demanding deadlines while managing multiple projects.
* Willingness to travel and work outside normal business hours.
* Strong organizational and management skills.
* Exceptional communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Good knowledge of at least another language beyond Italian, preferably English.
* Knowledge of the cycling industry within the retail space.
* Familiarity with event management.
* Creativity in crafting and managing internal and external events.
* Ability to communicate and negotiate with external vendors and service providers.
