Responsibilities: Develop and Expand Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue growth opportunities in the global Market Access sector, including Pharma, MedTech, and Digital Health, to support the company’s strategic objectives.Drive Business Growth: Lead strategic business development initiatives to fuel growth, with a strong focus on identifying new markets and client segments that align with the evolving landscape of healthcare technologies.Plan and Execute Commercial Strategies: Collaborate on the creation and execution of promotional and commercial activities, enhancing the company’s visibility and market reach.Source New Clients in Target Markets: Proactively identify and engage new clients, particularly in the US and Asia regions, to build a robust and sustainable client base.Build and Sustain Strategic Relationships: Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders in the life sciences industry, with a proven track record of delivering tangible business outcomes.Lead Proposal Development: Work closely with Market Access teams to create compelling, needs-based proposals, utilizing technical expertise to secure new projects.Gather and Share Customer Insights: Actively collect and relay client feedback to the Product team, influencing product innovation and enhancement.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with multiple teams across departments, aligning with stakeholders to ensure cohesive teamwork and successful project delivery.Support and Report to Head of Market Access: Collaborate with senior leadership, contributing to strategy development and providing regular updates on business development activities.Represent the Company Externally: Serve as a key ambassador at industry events, conferences, and within professional networks to build relationships and promote the company’s expertise.Required Experience:Deep Understanding of Healthcare Technologies: Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare industry dynamics, particularly in Market Access, Patient Access, and product launches
* Experience in Strategic Relationship Management: Proven success in building and managing high-impact relationships in life sciences, delivering measurable business outcomes
* Sales Proficiency: Skilled in the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract and account management, with a focus on cross-selling
* Market Access Expertise: Understanding of key Market Access factors, including European and JAPAC Health Technology Assessment (HTA) processes
* Client Interaction Skills: Ability to engage and influence senior/executive-level clients effectively
* Strong Communication and Negotiation Abilities: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels internally and externally
Qualifications/ Skills / Experience:Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Life Sciences, Health Economics, or Business.Experience: 7+ years of experience in business development, commercialization, or innovation management within the pharma, digital health, biotechnology, or MedTech sectors.HTA Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory and market access requirements within the healthcare industry.Client-Centric Deliverables: Proficiency in translating client needs and processes into actionable and formal deliverables.Willingness to Travel: Flexibility to travel as needed to meet client and project requirements.Global Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones, countries, and cultural contexts.Independent and Motivated: A positive, organized individual with a proactive mindset who thrives in sales and can work independently.Team Spirit: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
