JOB TITLE: Junior Credit Administration Officer

DIRECT REPORT (JOB TITLE): Credit Administration Manager
Overall Purpose of the Position
Assisting the Credit Administration Manager and Senior Officer in ensuring the efficient and effective day to day running of the Credit Administration Unit, with the ultimate aim of upgrading the substandard and doubtful facilities within the Credit Administration portfolio and transferring them back to the Banking network, either the Commercial Business Unit and/or Branches.
Operational Responsibilities
* Responsible for the attainment of goals and objectives within the set timeframes, including the fulfilment of tasks as delegated by the Manager and Senior Officer.
* Participates in and coordinates meetings between the Credit Administration Manager and/or Senior Officer and clients. Assists the Credit Administration Manager and/or Senior Officer in taking notes/minutes during said meetings.
* Checks that all data/details are correctly inputted into the Bank’s systems, namely LPS, CRM and ICBS when taking over new relationships and/or when the review of facility/ies is carried out.
* Assists the Credit Administration Manager and Senior Officer in coordinating with other Bank’s Units to ensure the smooth running of the Credit Administration Unit.
* Liaises with the Credit Administration Manager and/or Senior Officer when a relationship is transferred to the Bank’s Recoveries Unit.
General Responsibilities
* To submit any reports and/or participate in any projects and activities as may be directed from time to time.
* To ensure compliance with Bank’s policies, guidelines and underlying procedures at all times.
* To perform standard office tasks including processing mail, answering phone calls, ordering supplies and filing.
* To attend training as requested by the Bank.
* To compile periodical returns of the Credit Administration Unit on a monthly, quarterly and/or annual basis.
* To follow up with IT any Alemba cases opened by the Credit Administration Unit.
* To perform any other duties that may be reasonably assigned.

* On the job training will be provided. Candidates with a minimum one year experience in Advances/Credit will be given preference.
Qualification
* Ideally possess or is in the process of obtaining a professional qualification in a relevant area such as banking, finance or a related field.
