TXT e-Tech srl is looking for a Hardware Engineer who will be involved in the design, development, integration, and qualification of a test system dedicated to supporting hardware/software integration activities and on-board software qualification for avionic systems.
The ideal resource has a solid engineering background and proven experience in electromechanical design and in the complete life cycle management of a test system. The candidate will work with multidisciplinary teams and will be responsible for activities from the requirements analysis phase to the production of the final technical documentation.
Main responsibilities:
1. Analysis and definition of test system requirements;
2. Definition of system architecture and HW/SW interfaces;
3. Preliminary and detailed mechanical and electrical design;
4. Creation of 2D/3D technical drawings and bills of materials;
5. Support for bench integration and commissioning;
6. Drafting of procedures and documentation for verification and qualification;
7. Performing system integration and qualification tests;
8. Drafting of user manual and management of technical documentation (DOORS, MS Office);
Technical skills required:
1. CAD experience: software such as AutoCAD Mechanical, CATIA V5, Inventor;
2. ERP/PLM experience: material and product data management;
3. Scripting: documented ability in automating tasks (Python, Excel VBA);
4. Requirements definition: documented experience in drafting and managing design requirements;
5. Product qualification: defining the technical and document qualification process;
6. Avionics protocols: knowledge of main protocols (MIL-STD-1553, ARINC429, RS232/422/485, Ethernet).
Excellent knowledge of the English language.
Optional technical skills:
1. Knowledge of development processes for complex systems (V-model, avionic life cycle);
2. At least 1 year experience on aircraft on-board avionic systems and hardware/software test benches;
3. Knowledge of electrical management of analogue, discrete and RF signals in test systems;
4. Knowledge of MIL-STD-1760 standard;
5. Experience with IBM DOORS tool.
Education:
Master's degree in Electronic, Electrical, Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering;
