As a Microsoft Azure Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in a team environment to oversee the operation and maintenance of the company’s Azure environment. What You Will Accomplish Here…
As a Microsoft Azure Engineer, you will oversee the operation and maintenance of the company’s Azure environment. You will be responsible for the management of Microsoft Azure, including the design, migration of on-premise systems, the configuration of the environment, and the future Microsoft 365 architecture consistent with the business’s growth. Collaborate with our Security Director to implement and monitor security controls in the Azure environment and assist in the management of Exchange365.
This position will primarily focus on the following:
* Implements, updates, and troubleshoots InTune policies.
* Monitors, configures, and reports on Ediscovery tools in Azure.
* Migrates systems from on-premise to Azure.
* Maintains and troubleshoots Azure AD.
* Troubleshoots issues in Azure, including Exchange365, AzureAD, Intune, and Teams.
* Maintains and configures Azure backups.
* Configures and provides training for the Microsoft phone system.
* Reports and audits security events in Azure.
* Designs Azure solutions to best practices.
* Analyzes the performance of assigned systems and applications, taking action to correct deficiencies.
* Maintains and provides support on connectivity between Global on-premise systems and Azure.
* Deploys and configures new systems in Azure, as required.
* Assists with the installation of LAN / WAN equipment infrastructure.
Experience, Education, Skills and Credentials:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
* Microsoft Azure certification is required.
* Must have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience, including experience within an enterprise-level Azure environment.
* Proficient knowledge of Microsoft InTune and Microsoft Ediscovery tools is required.
* Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Azure AD is required.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Phone System is required.
* Must have knowledge of third-party Azure backup solutions.
* Working knowledge of network topology and remote access devices is required.
* Must have the ability to work independently, as part of a team, and exercise sound judgment.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
* Must have the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
* Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness.
* Must have the ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position.
