HR Business Partner
Florence area (Scandicci and Scarperia), Italy
Fixed Term Contract: 10 months
This role operates within our Italian business to provide HR leadership and expertise supporting the Supply Chain and Operations teams.
The role will maintain the HR policies and procedures across the SC and Operations in Italy in alignment with the EMEA locations, ensuring fair and consistent application and minimising risk to the Company. This will be a HRBP role for our Plants in Italy (Scandicci and Scarperia) reporting into the Senior HR Business Partner Italy.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Facilitate continuous improvement and implementing of new processes and procedures using strong Change Management skills
2. Support and coach Plant managers and SC leaders to enable them to effectively manage their teams
3. In conjunction with the Plant leadership team, ensure organisational design and resource capability are in place in both locations Italy to enable achievement of business goals
4. Coordinate local recruitment working closely with the Talent Acquisition team and Hiring managers, ensuring headcount control and workforce planning
5. Stay current with employment legislation to ensure compliance and provide credible advice. Working closely with the line manager, is responsible to protect the Company from any claim in HR subjects on the Plants
6. Work in partnership with business managers to ensure effective management of employee relations issues by providing pragmatic HR solutions which meet business needs.
7. Act as contact for SC and Operations employees, to provide professional, pragmatic and effective advice.
8. Build/maintain good dialogue with local unions with the support of the line manager
9. Ensure that the right plans are executed to continue to develop people according to business needs, talent management and budget (training, development plan)
10. Maintain the relevant internal communication routines with employees: monthly meeting on the shop floor, general meetings, team briefs, local organisation announcements etc.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
11. First degree (any discipline) & postgraduate qualification in Human Resources.
12. Proven experience in similar HR manager role in an FMCG, multi-national, manufacturing company
13. Strong change management skills, the Prosci certification is preferred
14. Employee and industrial relations experience with demonstrated success in negotiations with unions
15. Good knowledge of local employment legislation in Italy.
16. Experience of building development and training plans
17. Strong personal and team leadership skills
18. Ability to influence without formal authority at all levels of organization
19. Ability to handle complexity across multi-cultural and cross functional borders in a matrix organization
20. Good balance between Results oriented/People oriented
21. Structured and well organized
22. Good analytical skills
23. Self-starter, able to work remotely from line manager
24. Excellent oral and written communication skills across all levels and cross functionally.
25. Strong team worker locally and internationally, Ability to work collaboratively and maintain a positive outlook, even under pressure.

27. Right balance between strategic thinking and execution
28. Mature attitude with the ability to work remotely from direct leadership.
29. Fluent Italian and English (Other languages as a plus)
30. Ability to travel between two locations in Italy
