Summary
:
Ensuring the supervision of the HSE Operated Asset function and ensuring, with reference to the work environments of Operations Italia, the application of the law on safety at work, workers' health and environmental protection.
Detect compliance with plant standards, formulate intervention plans and ensure the application of defined protection and prevention measures, interacting both with the structure under its responsibility, and with managers of Operations Italy and with managers of the production sites.
Provide specialist support to the Asset Manager in relations with public authorities both in the control phase and in the authorization phase for the regular performance of mining or industrial activities.
With reference to the role of HSE Manager Operations Italy, the task is to assist the Asset Manager in the activities of:
1. Medical surveillance;
2. HSE training;
3. Definition of the HSE budget;
4. Waste management;
5. Risk assessment and documentation (DSSC, DVR, DUVRI, etc.);
6. HSE internal audits;
7. HSE supplier audits;
8. Informative HSE;
9. Management of the Integrated Management System according to ISO 14001, 45001 and EMAS standards;
10. Management and dissemination of IEA (IPPC authorization);
11. Management of Legislative Decree 105/2018 SEVESO Ter;
12. External HSE audits performed by third parties and authorities;
13. Management and exercise of the Emergency Response Plan.
In addition, he will hold the role of RSPP pursuant to Legislative Decree 81/08
Key Accountability:
The role takes care of the organization of field work according to the safety provisions issued by the Data Controller, including on-site inspections, visits, the organization of briefings, supervision of work permits, etc.
The role observes and ensures compliance with the legislative and regulatory provisions on the protection of the safety and health of workers, as well as implements the DSSC (which he/she signs), both in terms of objectives and specific provisions.
Whenever necessary, it proceeds to issue specific service orders aimed at implementing the specific safety provisions of the Data Controller for activities relevant from the point of view of worker safety.
Supports the Data Controller on an operational level in the responsibility for safety and health in the workplace.
Manages emergencies with service orders, work permits, provisions aimed at overcoming the emergency itself.
Verifies the correct legislative compliance of mining sites as required by current legislation in terms of workplace safety, including aspects relating to the compliance of fire-fighting systems, lifting systems, pressure equipment, explosive atmospheres and all that is required pursuant to Legislative Decree 624/96 and Legislative Decree 81/2008 and subsequent amendments. If anomalies are detected, it requests their resolution by activating the appropriate technical functions.
Verifies and rationalizes the individual work plans, making them congruent with the available resources according to the safety and safety aspects of the workplace.
It verifies the completeness and consistency of the necessary documentation by the contractors, verifying its adequacy, for the purpose of carrying out the planned works within the company's documentation management process.
Participates in training and information sessions for the roles of competence. Interfaces with the UNMIG Territorial Office of competence for all issues relating to safety in the workplace.
Interfaces with the competent territorial commands of the Fire Brigade, the Port Authorities and any other competent control body for all matters relating to safety in the workplace.
Accompanies people in charge of safety inspections during field visits, providing them with clarifications and anything else related to safety aspects and their organization.
The position provides, for the mining sites of central Italy, the appointment as Responsible Director pursuant to Legislative Decree 624/96.
In this role, with reference to the mining concessions operated in Italy by Energean Italy S.p.A. subject to the supervision of the UNMIG Central Italy Territorial Office, he exercises the function of the Director in charge pursuant to Legislative Decree 624/96 - Presidential Decree 886/79 - Presidential Decree 128/59 and subsequent amendments.
The assigned workplaces are constantly under the responsibility of the Director in charge.
Interfaces with the UNMIG Territorial Office of competence for all issues relating to safety in the workplace.
Interfaces with the competent territorial commands of the Fire Brigade, the Port Authorities and any other competent control body for all matters relating to safety in the workplace.
Accompanies the bodies in charge of safety inspections during field visits, providing them with clarifications, clarifications and anything else related to safety aspects and their organization.
Qualification and Experience:
14. Degree in engineering with qualification to practice;
15. Degree in geology with qualification to the profession (as required by Legislative Decree 128/59 amended by Law 388 of 23 December 2000, art.14, paragraph 5);
16. Knowledge of aspects related to mining and safety regulations in the workplace (Legislative Decree 624/96, Presidential Decree 886/79, Legislative Decree 81/2008);
17. At least 3 years' experience in the role;
18. Knowledge of the principles of the treatment process of both liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons;
19. Knowledge of the principles of maintenance of industrial plants;
20. Knowledge of the principles of management of offshore installations;
21. Knowledge of the technical regulations of the sector (confined spaces, hazardous atmospheres, Exxdclassified areas, fire prevention regulations, work at height, handling of loads, etc.);
22. Knowledge of Project Control policies;
23. Written and spoken English [minimum requirement level B2];
24. Excellent knowledge of the office package, especially Excel;
