Key Job Responsibilities:
* Delivering consistently high levels of IT support to our customers.
* Regular contact with the Amazon Operations teams and identify process improvement or standardization opportunities for the European network.

* Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and standardize systems, all with an eye towards enhancing the customer experience.
A Day in the Life:
As an Amazon Operations IT intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside industry-leading engineers who innovate every day on behalf of our customers.
You will be matched to a local IT supervisor and mentor where you are based and work together with the local IT team to provide technical support to the Operations network.
You will have the opportunity to impact the evolution of Amazon technology as well as lead mission-critical projects early in your career.
Your work will contribute to solving some of the most complex technical challenges in the company.
About the Team:
Amazon Operations IT teams keep Amazon's operations running smoothly by resolving complex hardware, software, server, and infrastructure issues.
Our support model is based on both on-site and remote support teams spread across our network.
We provide IT services to all Amazon Operations buildings, from Robotics Fulfilment Centres to Delivery Stations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
* Currently in your penultimate or final year and working towards a university degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering or other tech fields.
* Eligible to complete a full-time internship of 3-6 months.
* Highly proficient in both spoken and written English and Italian (Common European Framework of Reference C1).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Basic knowledge of at least one of the following: systems, networks, or operating systems, including concepts like deployment, troubleshooting, and system upgrades on client devices and/or IT infrastructure.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows Server operating systems.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify process improvements and innovative solutions.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate effectively with others.
* Demonstrated curiosity, proactivity, and willingness to take on challenges in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
* Experience with troubleshooting Networks (LAN/WAN).
