No Offer Description Microbial sampling will be conducted on various objects, shelves, and floors within the Biblioteca degli Intronati and the State Archive. Collected samples will undergo high-throughput sequencing for microbial identification. This analysis will be repeated across different seasons to correlate microbial communities with environmental factors like temperature and humidity. Cellulose nanoparticles will be functionalized with antimicrobial peptides. Their efficacy against isolated microorganisms will be evaluated. These materials will be initially tested on non-valuable objects, refined as needed, and ultimately applied to valuable artifacts, subject to relevant approvals.
