We are seeking an experienced Sales Operations Planning (SOP) Manager to drive the design, deployment, and seamless integration of SOP processes within our Spare Parts Supply Chain operations. This role plays a critical part in aligning demand, supply, and inventory strategies to ensure operational excellence across the European aftermarket. The SOP Manager will report directly to the Head of Demand, Supply Inventory for the European Spare Parts division.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAs SOP Manager, your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Design, implement, and continuously improve the Sales Operations Planning (SOP) process across the Spare Parts Supply Chain, tailored to the specificities of each business line.Define a clear and effective SOP strategy in close collaboration with key functions such as Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing, ensuring full alignment with the company’s overall goals.Lead the mapping and documentation of existing processes, identify gaps, and define the target state to enhance efficiency and integration.Drive the development of a structured demand planning process, including demand forecasting models, market growth projections, and inventory level assessments.Collaborate closely with commercial and customer service teams to incorporate promotional activities, client feedback, and market dynamics into the forecasting process.Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of SOP processes, and initiate continuous improvement actions accordingly.Manage the SOP cycle to meet defined operational targets and performance metrics.Facilitate regular SOP meetings to ensure alignment across functions and to support effective decision-making.Provide strategic recommendations and actionable insights to optimize operations, improve service levels, and enhance customer satisfaction.Partner with external consultants when necessary to benchmark and integrate best-in-class SOP practices.Develop and deliver training programs to support SOP understanding and adoption across the organization.Monitor and analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to continuously refine demand planning accuracy.Report on SOP performance both regionally and globally, highlighting opportunities and risks.Act as a point of reference for cross-functional teams in resolving conflicts and implementing SOP decisions effectively.REQUIREMENTSMaster’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 15 years’ experience in supply planning within manufacturing and/or retail sectors (e.g., FMCG, industrial products, automotive).Proven experience designing and implementing SOP processes in multinational and matrixed environments.Prior collaboration with external consulting firms on SOP transformation projects is a plus.Deep expertise in SOP methodologies, demand planning, and inventory management.Strong background in process mapping, gap analysis, and integration planning.Proficient in supply chain management tools and ERP systems.Fluent in English; proficiency in an additional European language (ideally Italian or French) is highly desirable.Strategic mindset with the ability to define priorities and drive transformation.Strong process orientation, with experience developing and rolling out operational policies (SOP, IBP, etc.).Proven ability to lead through change, influence cross-functional teams, and drive cultural and process improvements across geographies.Comfortable operating in a global context and managing regional complexities.Strong desire to create impact and drive continuous improvement.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach.Collaborative and influential, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Positive, proactive mindset with a focus on teamwork and enabling others.At Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit and business needs.
