Partner with the best
The Test Bench Leader is the String Test focal contact for all operations activity related to erection, assembly, and testing of the assigned string test plant.
He/She drives safety, quality cost and on time delivery of all operations (mechanical, electrical) related to test bench preparation, erection, functional test, up to test bench disassembly.
In this role He/She acts as coordinator of mechanical and electrical external suppliers’ activities on test bench.
He / She is also responsible of trouble shooting and prompt non-conformity resolution maintaining connection with partner functions/department such as product engineering, assembly, and packaging mfg. cell.
In is mission He/She is also responsible to drive #Safety and #Quality culture among the partners supplier that contemporary works on the test bench.
As Test Bench Leader you will be responsible to:
1. Drive the string test operation (test bench erection, turbomachines and gas loop installation) according to production planning timeline
2. Supervise all the activity performed by external supplier such as assembly, lifting, welding, mechanical/electrical work
3. Provide technical direction on non-conformity maintaining connection with partners functions: engineering, manufacturing.
4. Draft and archive operation quality/ safety reports and checklist related to ongoing field operations as per Quality Installation Book
5. Verify that project budget is aligned to operation expenses and adjust operation plans to minimize costs
6. Assure that Lesson Learned are captured and applied during operations.
7. Provide new ideas about test bench activities development and improvement
8. Keep high level attention in HSE and QUALITY aspect during assembly/test /disassembly phase

To be successful in this role you will:
9. Have a degree in Engineering subject: Mechanical, Energetic, Electrical, Aeronautical engineering preferred, and relatable work experience
10. Demonstrate excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills
11. Show ability to manage and oversees multiple projects/activities with high intensity
12. Be an experienced problem solver, with analytical approach identifying root causes and implementing improvements solutions
13. Display a good knowledge of Turbomachinery System architecture & commissioning operations.
14. Be fluent in English and Italian languages and be able to work in EU.
