About the Role
This position reports to the Deputy Chief Designer & Structure or their designee; is located in Maranello, Italy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Promote teamwork and effective communications to develop working relationships between all personnel and departments.
* Activity consists of structural analysis and optimization of the car components in order to guarantee solutions with minimum weight, adequate reliability and safety, reaching at the same time the required stiffness targets.
* Main area of work will be centered on the analysis of Composite components (chassis, gearbox, wings, bodywork, suspensions etc.)
* Follow all safety regulations in all venues.
Education and Work Experience:
* University degree in Mechanical, aeronautical or equivalent Engineering, and preferably a master's degree in relevant subject.
* Minimum requirement of 5 years work experience in engineering environment, of which 3 must be in a professional motorsports environment.
Requirements:
* Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
* Have an excellent understanding of English language.
* Work to a consistently high standard in stressful and time sensitive situations.
* Quick decision-making skills whilst working through problems in a scientific and analytical way.
Work Environment:
* An ability to work and prioritize within a high pressure, time sensitive environment while retaining a methodical and organised approach is essential.
* The role may require some domestic, international travel and a willingness to work long and flexible hours including weekends.
