The Opportunity For our Merchandising team based in Brugherio (MB) we are looking for a Planner (Beauty division) - full time permanent position. Featuring the right products on air at the right time of day is a necessary factor in maximizing sales in QVC and this exciting challenge could be yours Your Impact Reporting to the Planning Manager your main responsibilities will be: Maximizing Sales & Margins: Strategize items to maximize selling exposures on all the QVC platforms. Identify opportunities leveraging pricing promo, installment payments and free shipping. Monitor and review sales performance. Manage Beauty and cross category multiplatform campaigns. Partner with Buying to analyze business and develop short and mid-term strategic plans. Stock Management Manage and action overall inventory to assigned goal. Analyze item performances and determine next actions such as re-orders, promotions and return to vendor. Identify and action markdown and inventory liquidation/clean-up, ensuring that the correct status, pricing and liquidation strategy is applied following QVC's guidelines. Identify opportunities within category assortment based on sales trends and gaps in the inventory. Reporting Partner with Buying and Commerce Platforms to forecast, plan and recap campaigns. Forecast with high accuracy sales and inventory providing information for the open to buy process. Build and explore/understand reports to get insights in order to update Brand/product strategy during the year. What you bring At least 2-3 years experience in a similar role. Experience of being responsible for a product area and stock management. Excellent knowledge of Excel. Fluency in Italian and English is a must. Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Strong analytical skills. Exposure to Tableau and Microstrategy for reporting activities (nice to have).
