The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Buying Manager Beauty to join our Buying team based in Brugherio (MB) – Italy. Reporting into the Senior Manager Merchandising and Planning you will oversee the development and expansion of QVC's brand strategy for the Beauty area.
You will lead and develop a team of Buyers, Junior Buyers and Assistant Buyers responsible for growing and maximizing product ranges.

As our Buying Manager Beauty at QVC you will:
1. Develop the product strategy for your category, driving newness by always identifying and translating trends with our customer in mind.
2. Foster a curated assortment that aligns with the QVC brand and multiplatform strategy across proprietary and national brands.
3. Oversee focus on newness/external trends, support to identify growth brands and acquire exclusive products.
4. Lead vendor and supplier sourcing and management ensuring compliance.
5. Manage OTB, reviewing sales plans, budgets and forecasts, reacting to customer trends and trading environments.
6. Analyze customer metrics applying those insights.
7. Collaborate with teams in market
8. Manage buying team of respective category in daily activities and tasks
9. Define alongside the Senior Manager strategic team structures to potentialize the business.
10. Formulate goals creating an environment that enables employees to fulfil the agreed goals motivated by performance
11. Oversee the recruitment, training and performance management of the buying team, following QVC guiding principles.
12. Set the team short- and long-term goals following our department and business goals.
13. Inspire a team of brand ambassadors especially in their interaction with vendors.

Requirements
19. Excellent English proficiency
20. Mandatory B2C experience in Beauty
21. At least 6 years of experience in the Buying field.
22. Interest in Beauty environment
23. Strategic thinking related to discuss budget definition, reconciliation and forecast analysis.
24. Advanced Excel skills
