As a Foreman with Stryker Electric, you’ll lead skilled electricians and apprentices to deliver top-quality, code-compliant electrical projects on time and safely. This role combines hands-on work with team leadership, troubleshooting, and collaboration with project managers to uphold Stryker Electric’s high standards in every installation and repair.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations at the worksite, coordinating tasks and assigning duties to electricians and apprentices.
* Install and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and devices according to building codes and regulations.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in industrial settings.
* Conduct circuit tests and measure voltage, amperage, resistance, and phase displacement using electrical instruments.
* Collaborate with other electricians and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
* Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code.
* Communicate with project managers to provide updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.
* Prepare and submit daily reports on activities, labor hours, equipment usage, and project milestones.
* Implement on-site safety protocols, perform inspections, and address any safety concerns.
* Train and mentor team members in safety practices and construction tasks.
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Skills
* 3+ years of experience as a foreman or in a similar role.
* Proficient in construction methods, blueprint reading, and safety regulations.
* Basic Computer skills, able to email, download documents and edit simple forms.
Preferred Licenses/Certifications
* Valid Driver’s License.
* Journeyman License or equivalent experience.
* OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain.
