Junior Project Manager - Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will hold a key role as: Internal Purchase Manager
With the goal of assuming the role of Technical Director in a subsequent stage, with the following main responsibilities:
* Management of orders:
o Study of the machine and development of the plant, in collaboration with the technical office, in the start-up phase of the order.
o Redaction and maintenance of all technical documentation of the project, including the calculation phase related to the machines constituting the plant.
o Presentation of the project and support for the implementation of the works.
* Planning, coordination, and monitoring of all activities related to the order, ensuring compliance with deadlines, costs, and technical specifications.
* Direct interface with the Project Manager for the definition of the customer's technical requirements, management of requests, and verification of product/service conformity.
* Continuous coordination with the internal work team (production, design, purchasing, etc.) to ensure correct execution of orders.
* Monitoring of activity progress and preparation of periodic reports for management regarding progress, changes, and any non-conformities.
* Collaboration with management for the adoption of innovative technologies and updating of productive techniques.
* Support in supplier management for material and technical component procurement.
* Support to the commercial area in the development of estimates and definition of layouts for new projects.
* Availability for short trips within Italy and abroad.
* Role expected to lead to the Technical Director position of the company.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical).
At least 5 years of previous experience in a similar role, preferably in industrial metal-mechanical contexts.
In-depth knowledge of order management processes, from the project phase to production.
Excellent knowledge of quality, safety, and cost management regulations.
Leadership, problem-solving, and multidisciplinary team management skills.
Excellent knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, Creo, etc.), MS Office package, and order management (ERP).
Good English language skills.
Provenance from manufacturing companies: Chocolate/Food/Pharmaceutical sector.
