ContextWithin AXA Belgium, the IT PC department is responsible for the day-to-day management, security, technical and functional evolution of the PC insurance applications and systems (Fire, Motor, Miscellaneous Risks) for our customers, partners, brokers or employees.The IT PC department is seeking to appoint an IT Product Lead, taking care of around 15 PC Corporate applications.The challengeYour responsibilities as IT Product Lead :As a leader and coach of the team, you make sure the team composition ensures a good knowledge to maintain and extend the applications within the PC Corporate domain, including quality of service and security compliance of our already running applications.You organise the backlog of the team, including:The maintenance activities touching the products under ownership of the team: bug fixing, evergreen upgrades, security updates and fixes, performance and resilience improvements, production monitoring, incidents resolution, …The impacts due to peripherical initiatives or BAU demands impacting the products under ownership of the team.You organise and coach a team of around 15 people (internals, contractors, and offshore partners) to grow to a higher level of maturity year after year, in a way the team can maintain the products (applications and services) in BAU mode.Apart from managing your direct team you also will need to coordinate the different experts who contribute to your initiatives, such as business and IT Epic/Project managers, architects and security specialists. It is essential that you nurture an extended network that will facilitate the exchanges with other teams and ultimately the removal of impediments.You will report back to your IT Feature manager, IT management and business stakeholders and sponsors.Your ProfileExperienceAt least 5 years of experience in IT team management - having worked in an agile organisation is a plus.You have experience in application management activities, with good understanding of the business context and objectives.You have a good overview of the different technological components in modern IT (Cloud, AWS, Security principles).Knowledge of one of the two national languages and English (knowledge of the second national language is a major asset).At least 5 years of experience in the insurance sector.SkillsYou demonstrate participative leadership skills.Delivering value to the customer is your priority.You communicate actively and above all proactively.Able to build a strong network and to identify the best people you need to reach out to collaborate with you and your teams.You negotiate and respect your commitments.You are a role model and promote cultural change within the project team: empowerment, learning/development culture.Able to communicate with business and technical colleagues alike, and to gain buy-in within the different levels of the organization.About AXAAt AXA, we want to be more than the world leader in insurance and asset management.Our purpose is ‘Act for human progress by protecting what matters.
