SUMMARY OF ROLE
This role oversees daily company finance operations. The postholder is involved in all controlling and accounting functions as part of a Regional financial team, with a focus on Italy, Romania, and Bulgaria.
The postholder will be a Junior Financial Controller, undertaking all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budgeting, forecasts preparation, financial risk management, and internal control policy development.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage all aspects of the Financial function, focusing on Italy, Romania, and Bulgaria.
* Ensure adoption of Group Policies into local companies.
* Coordinate accounting team resources (internal and external) for monthly financial reporting.
* Prepare monthly cashflow reporting (forecast and actual exceptions analysis).
* Complete mandatory reporting (statutory, reporting package, ESG, internal, etc.).
* Oversee local company activities related to cash collections.
* Develop and implement an ERP cost controlling model for the Italian manufacturing plant.
* Manage debtor insurance, invoice discounting, and working capital.
* Manage external consultants (tax expert, Auditor, tax inspector, etc.).
* Monitor stock evaluation & stock performance KPI.
* Supervise tax, VAT for imports and exports, and assist tax consultants accurately and timely.
* Manage insurance policies, utilities, etc.
* Process budgeting/forecasting activities.
* Control and manage data consistency across companies.
* Perform other duties as deemed necessary by management in the Region.
OTHER INFO
* 30% of working time may be allocated to European Finance project – schedule adjusted accordingly with Group necessity.
* Candidate must allow travel abroad (5-6 weeks annually) and hold a driving license.
* 1-2 days smart working after trial period is an option.
SCOPE OF POSITION
The role does not have line management responsibility but has hybrid support from other business units.
Dual reporting lines: administrative (Country Manager, Regional Manager, etc.) and functional (Financial Structure of the Group, including Regional Financial Manager, Head of Finance Europe, etc.). Work independently across Operational & Commercial Functions in the Region, focusing on Italy, Romania, and Bulgaria.

This position is located at Garbagnate (Lecco), Italy.
