Job Summary Ingersoll Rand is seeking a highly motivated Technical Support Knowledge Specialist to work on a small competence team engaged in Service Training and Technical support to internal and authorized distributor technicians. The candidate will report to EMEIA Field Technical Competency Leader. The work will consist of managing all aspects of user creation, maintenance, and support within current platforms used to provide support (i.e., SuccessFactors, Salesforce, SharePoint) and supporting maintenance, needed development, and deployment features of the same systems to adapt to market needs. Support for content development will also be part of the role. Responsibilities Support with needed enhancements, future developments, and testing of the Technical Support Salesforce community and Service Training platform. Manage Knowledge articles. Manage user creation, administration, and maintenance of users within the Ingersoll Rand platforms used for Service training and Technical Support. Troubleshoot system user issues and provide user support. Answer user feedback cases. Review and edit videos for content development. Support for content development. Report developments and activities. Collaborate with other teams to improve user experience with accessing and utilizing our systems. Basic Qualifications Ideally educated to degree level in Informatics or with a technical education background with experience in system management/development. Degree or bachelor’s in mechanical engineering will also be considered. Key Competencies 2-3 years work experience with systems management and development. High level of PC literacy. Knowledge of Salesforce. Knowledge of HTML code would be good, and API code will be considered a plus. Fluent in English; other languages will be considered a plus. Good relational skills, communication capabilities, and attitude to work in a team. Good organizational skills and capability to work autonomously. Ability to work to tight timescales.
