Job Description Mission: The Project Manager will be responsible for the daily implementation and management of ongoing EU projects, work packages and tasks, including the project activity dissemination, communication and possible use case replication on the "Digital Energy" market. The European Research Projects, co-funded by the EU, last 3 to 4 years and, with a consortium of at least 10 partners, aim to achieve excellent results in innovative solutions related to energy management and energy optimization. What will you do? Monitoring the overall progress regarding milestones and deliverables; Time scheduling; Risk analysis; Be an active part in the weekly Work Packages meeting; Manage internal and external stakeholders; Champion the preparation of deliverables; Preparation of the technical interim and final reports; Ensuring the timely submission of financial reports. Example of a project: The project, called ECOFACT “ECO-innovative Energy FACTory Management System,” is based on enhanced LCA and LCCA towards resource-efficient manufacturing, aiming to optimise energy consumption in industrial manufacturing plants. The "Life cycle assessment" (LCA) indicator will be used to provide a level of sustainability for each product. It will be possible to calculate these indicators thanks to a capillary monitoring of consumption at field level. Schneider Electric will provide energy monitoring technologies and its quality, and an edge-level software (PME) for aggregating all data. PME will then provide data to partners at the app/cloud level where the indicators mentioned above will be processed and calculated. What will help you to be successful? Fluent in English and Italian (spoken and written); Good project management attitude; Exhibit good leadership skills by carrying everyone along (usually members of other companies), without bias; Be highly focused in order to stick to the objectives and goals without giving in to undue distractions and challenges; Exhibit high motivational skills; Good crisis management skills to handle pressure from project challenges; Good technical skills on electrical and/or mechanical and/or energetic subjects; Team working skills; Passion for the new and unexplored; Willing to travel in Europe to participate in the project’s meetings and demo site visits (1 meeting every 3 months).
