We are looking for Commis de Bar for the next season 2024 to join our bar team. The ideal candidate is willing to provide authentic, luxury experiences in a world-renowned destination to our guests. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges. He / she is willing to provide authentic and luxury dining experiences, demonstrating care, confidence, curiosity and community. He/She should have exceptional taste and exemplary customer service skills.
He/She reports to Bar Manager & Assistant Bar Manager.
We are looking for genuinely enthusiastic personality, professional & hardworking with the highest standard of presentation and ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team. Ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution-focused.
Excellent command of English. Additional languages would be desirable.
Requirements
The Commis de Bar, who reports to the Bar Manager, will:
1. Fulfill the Bar operations assisting with service, setup, mise en place and cleaning, according to the Belmond policies, high standards and procedures;
2. Monitor all aspects of the guests experience, from the restaurant layout before their arrival to the experience they receive during the service.
3. Act to enhance a flawless service and anticipate guests needs;
4. Support Bartenders with the service;
5. Establish and maintain good relationships with all guests and handle requests and enquiries.

19. Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally.
