Job Title: Permitting Project Manager for Wind Renewable Energy Projects
About Us
Our client is a leading Independent Power Producer company, managing end-to-end projects to generate power from solar, wind, and other renewable sources.
Mission
To oversee the full-cycle permitting process of Wind Projects across South Italy, ensuring successful execution by aligning with regulatory frameworks and relationships with local authorities, administrations, and land owners.
Responsibilities:
* Manage wind projects starting from land acquisition.
* Supervise developers and contractors responsible for authorization processes.
* Prepare and manage necessary documentation for project development, coordinating with regional, national, and local authorities.
* Maintain regular interaction with local administrations, staying informed about laws and regulations affecting project permitting.
* Track project progress during authorization process and liaise with competent authorities.
* Collaborate with local and global permitting teams, providing regular updates and reports.
Requirements
* 2-5 years of experience in permitting and project development, preferably in Renewable Energy Sector with focus on wind projects. Experience in solar permitting considered.
* Knowledge of sector regulations: Wind regulation, permitting process, and urbanistic/landscape planning.
* Bilingual level of Italian and professional level of English or Spanish.
* Collaboration with teams in Spain.
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, dynamic, proactive, and capable of multitasking.
* Availability to travel.
* Driving license.
