Opportunity
We are looking for a Category Specialist Indirects..
Objective of the position is to source and purchase services and non-direct materials. This role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Your responsibilities will be:
Supporting the Category Leader Indirects, assume global responsibility of Indirect Procurement for Evoca Group.
Manage and reduce total cost of ownership and increase value contribution of indirects to the Evoca Business
Shared with internal clients, establish pricing and conditions, support risk management, sustainability initiatives, contract management, vendor relationships for the indirects category
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery capabilities
Conduct market research to identify trends and new sourcing opportunities
Enable and manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to purchase order issuance
To be successful in this role you’ll need to have :
Degree in Engineering, Economics or related fields
Commercial mindset
3-5 years of work experience in Procurement
Experience analysing internal clients’ needs and external offers, restating and synthesizing these to enable clear comparison
First successes in business partnering and negotiation
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent, but not perfect, in English and Italian
Well versed and ready to learn more in efficiency applications (e.g., MS Office) and ERP systems
Nice to have:
Experience in indirect procurement, preferably in Information Technology, Logistics, Facilities, Marketing industrial capex and MRO
Appliances Manufacturing experience
Proficiency in procurement tools and software
Previous experience in structured manufacturing companies
