Under the supervision of a Tutor (Senior Engineer), through a tight training plan and intense on-the-job training, the candidate will participate in the development of our interesting projects on Industrial Process Safety, in a challenging environment. The candidate will join the CEEME Process Safety Team, to ensure the safety of Chemical Processes of partner companies. This will be achieved by acquiring specific knowledge and competencies, developing Risk Assessment Studies and improving partners’ Safety Culture. Main duties and responsibilities:Will follow specialistic training courses, in house and from third parties, to ensure the development of the needed competences and skills; this will be complemented by self-development activities such as independent study of the available material Will support the Team of Process Safety activities, such as Process Safety Risk assessment, Explosion Risk Management (AtEx), Functional Safety and Layer of Protection Analysis (SIL & LOPA), pressure relief venting sizing, HAZOP, HAZID, Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA),Fire and Explosion Risk Assessment (FERA), Hazardous Area Classification (HAC) for different customers and sectorsWill develop the activities in house and at customer sites in CEEME (Central East Europe and Middel East) regionWill develop reliability analysis to evaluate frequency of Loss of Containment Scenarios, using methodologies such as Falt Tree Analysis (FTA) and Event Tree Analysis (ETA), with specificWill model the dangerous physical effects of Loss of Containment Scenarios (toxic and flammable gasses dispersion, heat radiation, overpressure, environmental impacts), through sector specific softwareWill join DEKRA global Process Safety Community (with more than 250 specialists) within the Champions structure, reporting to national and international discipline coordinatorsWill support in Process Safety Incident Investigation at local and international level Will support customer according to the requirements of Seveso and AtEx directives, coordinating with and coached by other team membersWill carry out surveys and inspections at customers’ sites in order to collect the relevant information needed to develop Risk Assessment activitiesWill help DEKRA Branding activities at national and international level by participating to Congresses and ConferencesMandatory Skills Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemical or Prevention and Safety Engineering in the Process Industry DegreeBusiness proficiency in English language (C1)Interest in chemical processes Good knowledge of the Office package, Matlab and Visual BasicAvailability to travel in Italy and abroadAnalytical skillsTeam spirit, empathy and flexibilityWillingness to learnCar driving licenseNice to haveKnowledge of other foreign languagesKnowledge of Risk Analysis methodologies (e.g. HAZOP, QRA) and modeling methodologies (FTA, ETA, PHAST)Knowledge of Autodesk AutocadKnowledge of CFD modelsSalary, benefit and ICT kitSalary to be definitedTicket restaurantSmart working: 2 days per weekKIT ICT: Laptop and SmartphoneType of contractPermanent and full-time
