Finnair Technical Operations is responsible for the airworthiness of Finnair fleet. The key objectives of Technical Operations are safety, reliable flight operations and cost-efficient maintenance processes. Operative Engineering function is under Operative Management, which combines the strengths of Engineering and MCC (Maintenance Control Center).
We are currently looking for
OPERATIVE SUPPORT ENGINEER
to be a part of our Operative Engineering is a team of highly skilled and competent individual contributors who work collaboratively as a team. We are responsible for the health and reliability of the Finnair Airbus Fleet including: defect control, long term troubleshooting, leading prolonged AOGs, managing the Fleet Reliability Program, and developing Predictive maintenance for the Fleets.
The main responsibilities include:
* Provide advanced troubleshooting support to MCC and ACM, including AOGs.
* Identify and analyze repetitive defects, planning corrective actions independently or with Operative Engineers/manufacturer.
* Monitor Aircraft Condition daily, opening Work Orders as necessary and identifying fleet-wide defects.
* Responsible for the resolution of defects, Leading the organization resources such as apron, planning, hangar, including defect prioritization as required by organization stakeholder constraints.
* Analyze technical delays and defect trends and identify actions for reliability improvement.
* Monitor aircraft/engine health through monitoring systems and consult on technical matters with stakeholders and OEMs.
* Act as technical representatives during outsourced maintenance and give technical training when needed.
* Issue Certificates of Release to Service (CRS) or EASA FORM 1 after completion of maintenance in accordance with the authorization given by the company.
To be considered for the position we expect you to be:
* Part 66 License for ATR / EMB (minimum 3 years of experience as Certified Staff in aircraft maintenance) with B2 knowledge.
Additionally, we expect you to have:
* Good communication & coordination / prioritization skills.
* Helpful and cooperative teamwork skills.
* Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to withstand pressure.
* Good written and spoken English.
* Good knowledge of authority requirements, company processes and authorization restrictions.
* Good knowledge of systems and data related to personnel qualification, authorization and resource allocation.
