Job Description
We are actively looking for a Mechanical Engineer who will join our team in supporting an important client operating in the energy sector. You will design mechanical cabinets, parts, and related accessories for electrical cabinets. Also, perform FEM analysis of mechanical and structural parts. You will be inserted in the Electrical Technical Office and will have the task to design and develop mechanical solutions for electrical low voltage cabinets, in particular for Energy applications (power conversion cabinet). Furthermore, you will collaborate with other electrical designers reporting to the Mechanical Team Leader.
Qualifications
1. Mechanical Engineering degree.
2. Fluent in Italian and/or English (read/written/spoken).
3. At least 3 years of experience in the mechanical design of electric cabinets.
4. Capacity to develop and innovate mechanical layout of electrical cabinets for indoor and outdoor applications.
5. Capacity to develop mechanical parts of electrical cabinets like plinths, brackets, supports, cooling systems, etc.
6. Capacity to develop mechanical prototypes using structural and thermal calculations/software.
7. Capacity to standardize parts and products.
8. Capacity to industrialize solutions or products.
9. Ability to write and read technical specifications and functional descriptions.
10. Good knowledge of mechanical 3D/2D integrated design using 3D software (Inventor is mandatory; knowledge of Fusion 360, CATIA, or NX is a plus).
11. Good knowledge of norms and standards for mechanical drawing.
12. Flexibility, problem-solving, and creativity are necessary.
