As part of its growth and expansion, Currie & Brown Italy is looking for a Recruiter & HR Officer who qualifies under Legislation 68/99 based in Treviso but with expertise on resources across all of Italy. Currie & Brown has been active in Italy since 2010. Over the past 10 years, we have helped both national and international clients implement their expansion plans in Italy in the hospitality and leisure, residential, commercial property, logistics and Data Centre sectors. The role: what is it that we require you to do As Recruiter your responsibilities will include: Understanding our market and mapping potential candidates against current vacancies. Responsible for recruitment database administration, candidate liaison, interview scheduling, point of contact with recruitment agencies and subscribed job boards, coordinating recruitment updates back to the recruiters, updating the recruitment tracker, managing the recruitment mailboxes, providing weekly recruitment statistics to the UK recruitment team leader. Placing adverts on our company website, job boards and LinkedIn. Knowledge and experience of LinkedIn for candidate networking and sourcing. Representing Currie & Brown when speaking with candidates in the marketplace in a professional manner. Building relationships with candidates and managing them through the recruitment process. Arranging interviews and managing the recruitment diary. As HR Officer your responsibilities will include: Manage and develop policies and project activities in line with the HR strategy, legislative changes, and business needs. Manage HR projects aligned with the Group’s people strategy. Collaborate with the team to ensure excellence in transformational and transactional processes. Ensure legal and regulatory HR compliance in all areas of responsibility, including all employees and collaborators of Currie & Brown Italy. Evaluate and implement training programs and manage performance evaluations. Support continuous development and improvement within the team, including managing, designing, and creating new and improved processes and procedures, and support the team in delivering excellent HR service. Build relationships with hiring managers/senior stakeholders, understanding their specific needs and developing relevant talent pools. Ensure the effective integration of the new resources. Collaborate in managing administrative aspects related to personnel, both employees and collaborators, such as payroll, vacation, sick leave, and contracts. Monitor and evaluate employee performance through regular reviews with Senior staff, providing feedback and support for improvement. Manage communications with employees and collaborators. Maintain communication and provide continuous updates to the Labor Consultant and the HR team in London. What skills and attributes we require from you 3 – 5 years of experience in HR and/or in-house recruitment. Experience in providing support and managing a work environment. Experience in using a recruitment applicant tracking system and job boards for candidate searches and job postings preferred but not essential. Degree Educated preferred. Business/Professional level English language skills essential. Knowledge of HR systems and versatile IT skills, such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and report writing. Resilience and ability to handle unpredictable, intense, or sensitive situations. Excellent accuracy and attention to detail. Well-organised, diligent and proactive.
