TXT E-TECH, a TXT Group company, is looking for an Avionic Software Engineer for the Aerospace & Defense division. The candidate in particular will develop, design and maintain high-quality and safety critical software in a manner consistent with the best practices and in adherence to team's software development guidelines, rules, processes and practices.
The Cockpit Display System is an avionics subsystem capable of providing visual and aural information in order to achieve mission objectives while ensuring appropriate safety standards.
The CDS is used by aircrew to interact with the system avionics that displays primary flight information (attitude, air data, etc.) within the portion called PFD (Primary Flight Display) and secondary information (Flight Management System) within the Multi-Function Display portion.
Main responsibilities:
Software requirement analysis;
Design of software solutions;
Safety critical software implementation, with model based design method, in compliance with avionic project standards;
Software integration inside target environment;
Management and direct interaction with customers.
Technical skills required:
Software and model based programming skills;
Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink;
Interest in avionic and aerospace technology.
Education: Degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Automation Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering.
Nice to have:
Knowledge of C or C++ programming languages;
Knowledge of the Python programming language;
Knowledge of the Avionic Standard DO-178B/C.
The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills for customer and team relations, problem solving, attention to detail.
The profile is completed by good knowledge of English, good team working skills, autonomy in organizing work and punctuality in meeting deadlines.
