Join Our Team as an Inbound Logistics Specialist!
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for supply chain efficiency and seamless logistics operations? We are looking for an Inbound Logistics Specialist to ensure the smooth flow of finish products and raw materials, critical to our pharmaceutical business.
The position
The position will be responsible for the global inbound logistics flows management and execution. He/she will be developing logistic BDG consolidation, spending control and KPIs at global level supporting the logistic footprint re-design.
Key responsibilities:
Manage and execute inbound flows for both Finish Products and Raw Materials
Strictly collaborating with Supply Planning team to distribute raw materials and semifinished on time and in full to the Plants and/or CDMOs according to GDP instructions
Being responsible to define the logistic inbound budget and monitor the costs on a monthly basis highlighting root causes analysis and action plans/Risks & Opps
Collaborate with Quality team for logistic claims management with proved experience in thermal excursions management
Custom management
Logistics KPIS calculation and reporting
Support the Logistic footprint re-design, highlighting potential savings and optimizations across the full chain.
Support SAP 4 Transformation Roadmap on OTC
Dial with 3PL and/or supplier to work on the continuous improvement
Support the procurement team for tender activities
Experience & Skills
Proved 2-3 year experience in a similar role matured in the Pharmaceutical industry
BS/BA in Technical or Business field required (supply chain management, systems or industrial engineering); advanced degree is a plus.
APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus.
Master’s degree in Engineering
Strong communication skills
Fluent in English
Ability to work in a complex matrix organization with strong team work orientation required.
Ability to work effectively in an environment of competing priorities with concurrent deadlines.
Ability to interact, and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization
SAP knowledge, Analytics Tool (Power BI, AFO, BW) is a must
