Purpose of the role: Support Sports BU business success within guidelines set by EU BUs and Global through execution of a robust category plan, acting as category ambassador in respective location, across Brand and WHS functions. What you'll do: Contribute and input to the creation of Italy GTM plan for the respective categories in alignment with line manager. Download and prepare EU & Global BU material of respective category during the seasonal GTM Italy milestones. Assist and input on forecasting topics such as quantitative or qualitative data, segmentation, allocation etc. Maintain regular analytics on the sell-in and sell-through performance of respective category (analytical support from Finance/Sales Coordination team) to ensure sustainable growth of the category. Monitor and analyse market category trends. Ensure operational excellence in the Zone for all GTM relevant topics during the GTM process. Manage sample order process in alignment with Line Manager and MOPs guidance. Tailor and review local sell-in tools to ensure consistency and drive minimization of customized solutions. Provide input to the line manager to get the best possible sell-in tools for the category. Provide commercial input (consumer, channel and market-specific needs, and business opportunities) to the line manager to meet KPI. Provide all relevant KPI reporting for the respective categories. Provide any required scenario analysis related to the Categories. Be point of contact and support for category with a main focus on product/distribution related questions. Skills you'll need: Good interpersonal skills and ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders. Flexibility and discipline to work on a fast-paced calendar. Good communication skills written and important verbal and facilitation skills (small and large groups) especially when interacting with different levels of business. Good understanding of apparel, footwear and hardware. Good team player with solution-oriented & creative mindset. Interested in sports & fitness, preferably an active sports/fitness person. Inherently interested in the sports market. General brand marketing understanding. Ability to travel, domestic or international, as required. Ability to drive communication in a virtual environment. Main Requirements: University degree in business, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience. 3-4 years of Merchandising Experience, cross-functional marketing and/or sales experience.
