Responsibilities
Within the Information Systems Department, the domain is the information system that supports design/production/service, the so-called PLM - Product Lifecycle Management platform: the management system, combining CAD and other tools, that designers, production and service engineers use to manage the information and technical data of our products (from 3D drawings and models, to bills of materials, physical characteristics, production cycles, product quality and service).
The candidate will therefore contribute to the application development of Windchill PLM, already in adoption, and to the integrated introduction of new applications related to technical processes (for service, for technical documentation, for augmented and virtual reality, etc.). It will be necessary to analyze the business processes of design, production, after-sales service and then configure and customize the PLM and the other tools, to adapt them to these processes: so application software development but also passion for organization and mechanics!
The PLM Specialist:
* interfaces with the other departments, for the analysis of new requests and processes
* guarantees the development and evolutionary maintenance of the PLM platform, through the customisations that are necessary for the specificities of MARPOSS processes
* manages the specific applications interfaced with PLM
* contributes to user support and training
* manages relations with external suppliers
* in the future participates in roll-out projects in the companies of the MARPOSS Group
Short trips to Group sites in Italy, Europe or the rest of the world may be required following roll-out activities.
Profile
The profile is aimed at mechatronic, management or IT engineers, with initial experience in the WIndchill PLM area, in particular with knowledge of customising aspects.
In particular, the following are required
* ability and above all interest in the development of application software
* ability to analyse company processes, in particular those gravitating around mechanical, plant engineering, electrical design, up to software
* ability to organise and plan
* ability to analyse and synthesise, creativity, problem solving
* ability to work in a team and willingness to confrontation
* good knowledge of spoken and written English
