Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service & Supply Chain Coordinator to act as a key interface between our customers and internal teams. This role will be responsible for processing customer demand, providing delivery plans, and coordinating with purchasing and planning to ensure smooth order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, solution-oriented, and able to expedite processes to remove roadblocks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Customer Interface: Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding delivery schedules, order status, and new requests.
* Demand Management: Understand customer demand, track forecast changes, and ensure alignment with internal production capabilities.
* Order Coordination: Process customer orders, monitor lead times, and ensure timely delivery by collaborating with internal stakeholders.
* Internal Communication: Act as a bridge between customers and internal teams (purchasing, planning, logistics) to relay key requirements and resolve potential issues.
* Production Expediting: Work closely with the planning team to ensure on-time delivery, identify bottlenecks, and push for priority handling when necessary.
* Problem-Solving: Proactively address issues that may impact order fulfillment, escalate concerns, and drive cross-functional collaboration to remove obstacles.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction through process improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
* Previous experience in customer service, supply chain, logistics, or production planning (minimum 2-3 years preferred).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and internal teams.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
* Ability to analyze data and anticipate customer needs.
