America Steel Trade Corporation is an international trading company, AST specializes in sourcing, exporting/importing, and distributing steel and raw materials to the North, Central and South American Markets.
Who are we looking for:
A motivated and self-driven individual who has experience in the operations field in a trading company. A person must have significant communication, time management, and organizational skills to successfully provide services in Operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales and purchase contract preparation, invoicing and set of docs
2. Follow up on each order status and documents' preparation
3. Processing small invoice payments and communication with the director
4. Data organizing and data analysis
5. Assisting in the optimization of sales and operations workflows
6. Help to improve workflow of the sales process
7. Developing and processing weekly and monthly reports
8. Maintaining CRM, and usage reports
Qualifications:
1. 3+ years experience in operations/ data analysis and/or contracts
2. Fluent in English and Spanish (mandatory)
3. Effective project and time management skills
4. Excellent computer skills and analyzing skills
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
6. Familiarity with business development and financial principles
7. Able to operate effectively in a very fast-paced environment
8. Self-motivated, ability to multi-task, critical thinking, problem solving skills, initiative, common sense, creativity and flexibility are essential
9. Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics/ International Business/ Law
10. Previous experience in operations department in a company (preferred)
Pay: From $800,000.00 per month
