Job Purpose:
Supporting the Head of Market for Downstream and Head of Practice (DS/AIS) to drive the success within the downstream market and support the integration of downstream activities into the wider Genesis organization.
Reporting lines and interactions:
Hierarchically reports to: Head of Practice DS / AIS (day to day), Head of Market Downstream, Current manager (functionally)
Directly supervises: N/A
Key Interactions (internally, externally): Head of Practices (HOP), Other HOMs, Head of Countries (HOC), Business Development Managers (BDM), Digital Consulting, BL-2
Job scope:
Part Time (0.5 FTE) for 9 months
Main Accountabilities:
The development role will support the Downstream Head of Market in reviewing the market offering to ensure we are evolving with the changing market landscape. Support the Head of Practice develop downstream offering in Genesis, including integration with Digital Consultant, OMC, and PMC.
The role will support the following activities and 2025 roadmap:
* Continuous improvement and maintenance of the content in the Business Development (BD) slides, including updates with recent project case studies and new in-house tools/capabilities.
* Streamlining and maintaining packages to support efficient work, such as proposal templates and standardisation of typical deliverables.
* Maintaining global project experience lists and case studies summaries (liaising with study managers and Heads of Country).
* Supporting BD and tendering activities globally.
* Assist with website and brochures updates, with input from the BDMs and GSML.
* Market technology and policy watch, keeping up to date with relevant Rystad (and other) reports. Knowledge sharing within Genesis, summarising key details of pertinent reports.
* Networking and establishing relationships within Genesis and TEN, to ensure we are set up for winning and executing sustainable energy projects.
* Chairing regular (6 monthly) global lessons learned forums on recent projects within the Downstream market.
* Organising global lunch and learns on pertinent topics relating to the downstream energy market.
* Chairing monthly meetings with regional BDMs and/or HOCs to align and assist with BD efforts in the Downstream market.
* Participating in COPs to ensure two-way flow of knowledge sharing in the Downstream market including trends and key studies.
Ad-hoc assistance with presentation material for industry & networking events such as conferences.
