Our goal is to create success stories and enrich the talent pipeline within our client companies. For a multinational Company, leader in its field, we are seeking for a Chief Financial Officer. This pivotal role combines financial leadership with strategic management. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the company’s growth, ensuring financial sustainability, and maintaining strong relationships with financial institutions and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Strategy and Management: Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy in alignment with overall business goals; Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to ensure operational efficiency and profitability; Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk to sustain healthy business operations.
2. Bank Relations: Keep strategic relationships with banks and financial institutions supported by the Export Credit Manager.
3. Operational Leadership: Collaborate closely with the CEO and other executives to drive the company’s strategic direction; Provide leadership and oversight for the finance, accounting and administrative teams; Act as a key decision-maker in cross-departmental initiatives and resource allocation.
4. Governance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate policies; Oversee audits, risk management processes, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
5. Performance Analysis and Reporting: Monitor and analyze key financial metrics to identify opportunities for improvement; Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and board of directors, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses; Supervise preparation of monthly financial and operational reporting to the shareholders and assisting the CEO in monthly discussions with the shareholders supervisory board.
6. People Management: Manage 14 people across finance & control, export credit and administrative teams.
7. Banking and Credit/Bonding Line Management: Lead negotiations with banks and financial institutions to secure and optimize credit and bonding lines; Negotiate and manage bank guarantees, letters of credit, and other financial instruments critical to project execution; Monitor compliance with any relevant covenants and ensure optimal financial arrangements.
8. Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and financial stakeholders to support business growth; Represent the company in negotiations, meetings, and discussions with external parties.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Master Degree in Finance, preferred MBA;
2. Proven experience as a CFO in a senior financial leadership role, mainly in Controlling, Financial Planning, Accounting, and Administration, acquired in multinational companies, preferably industrial corporations working on projects;
3. Strong expertise in banking negotiations and credit line management leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities;
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
5. Fluency in English (French is a plus).
