You will be working as part of the Information System Team. The Contract Logistics IT Systems Expert will strictly collaborate with the Control room to ensure the proper operation of the warehouse information systems. The candidate will act for the maintenance of WMS documentation, lead and train the local workforce about the proper use of the systems, and run continuous improvement and maintenance activities related to local information systems. Responsibilities Gather and analyze functional logistics requirements from external and internal customers. Supervise and monitor the proper functioning of information systems and run constant maintenance activities on the local Information Systems landscape, focusing mainly on Blue Yonder WMS. Create and update documentation of implemented and configured processes and systems, such as Blue Yonder, and track change logs for all changes. Design and implement integrations between customer ERPs and other satellite systems to satisfy business needs and guarantee an efficient goods workflow. Maintain local hardware related to Contract Logistics (e.g., Label Printers, RF Scanners, etc.). Develop, implement, and deliver training to key users to support information systems learning and enable internal stakeholders to be independent with the usage of the tool; develop training considering the average user learning curve. Conduct continuous improvement activities related to local WMSs and other information systems tools to maximize the efficacy of the informatic tools, fix actual and prevent potential issues, and facilitate/accelerate goods workflow. Provide Functional Requirements Specifications to developers related to new features required by WMS. Requirements 2 – 3 years’ experience in a 3PL company, dedicated to WMS implementations. Proven track record of successful completion of projects related to information systems commissioning, software integration, calibration, or troubleshooting. Deep knowledge and understanding of information systems like ERPs and WMSs applied in operational environments such as warehouses or production factories. Experience in metric-oriented and data analysis-based work environments characterized by strict SLAs and deadlines, with the ability to prioritize issues and tasks using ticketing systems.
