Your opportunity
Field Technical Support Expert will report to Field Technical Support Manager. The main focus of the role will be:
* Perform Installation, start‐up, commissioning and test of the Sidel’s high complex Equipments supplied to customers’ plants.
* Perform technical assistance during and after warranty period of high complex machines and troubleshooting in case of technical issues.
* Support internal and external qualification of prototypes and technical modifications.
Your Mission
* Start up, commissioning, test and services on Fillers of high complexity.
* Technical assistance onsite during and after warranty period for high complex machines.
* Intervention on site in case of technical issues that require a specific RCA & troubleshooting.
* Improve personal competences on complete combi, trade associated equipments and line equipments.
* Support in the workshop for internal qualification of prototypes (run-off, assembly, test).
* Support onsite for external qualification of technical modifications and variants.
* Responsible of equipment performances at customer plant, based on technical, contractual and safety specifications.
Your Profile
Level Of Education And Languages
* Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Technical professional qualification.
* Language requirements: Fluency in English is a must-have, a good level of French an advantage for your best local integration.
Required Experience And Skills
* Experience in assembly and testing of complex machinery or field and service activities or technical assistance would be an advantage.
* Deep knowledge of automation devices (PLC, HMI devices focused on the motion control of the main brands as Allen Bradley, Elau/Schneider Electrics, B&R and Siemens) and communication networks.
* Capable to manage stressful situations.
* Organized, able to conceptualize ideas into professional reports.
* Attitude to problem solving (trouble shooting and RCA) and Customer oriented.
* Good Interpersonal skills, especially ability to communicate with different target groups (technicians, customers, etc.).
