Job Summary:
The mission of this role is to oversee production workflow planning and coordination for one or multiple products and lines. This involves prioritizing operations to ensure maximum efficiency, minimize delays, and optimize resource utilization.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning:
* Prepare production schedules detailing all tasks and completion deadlines to meet predicted delivery dates
* Detailed control of the production sequence to achieve optimal resource use
* Coordinate material movements between production units for efficient production runs
* Setup and monitoring of KANBAN control cycles for finished and semi-finished goods
* Support production in setting up KANBAN control cycles for raw-material and semi-finished products
Problem Solving:
* Troubleshoot problems occurring during production
* Identify shortages, bottlenecks, or inventory-related problems
* Ensure problem recurrence prevention
* Liaise with production for clarification and coordination of balanced and de-conflicted demands and plans
