This position reports to R&D Team Lead Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ABB’s success with technology, software, product, and system development. Each day, you will identify and implement innovative solutions to relevant problems. You will also showcase your expertise by providing ideas and by being able to work both independently and as a part of a Research & Development (R&D) team. The work model for the role is: LI-onsite. This role is contributing to the Electrification – Smart Power division. You will be mainly accountable for: Realizing the design of architecture and technical details, the circuit simulation and the development of electronic project which requires knowledge of analog, digital and low power electronics. Taking care of the design optimization by identification of technical, architectural and circuitry solutions, exploiting the highest integration with the rest of product (mechanical part, sensors and implementation) and collaborating with the Company departments involved in the Product Development Process (Marketing, Engineering, Quality, etc.). Running the project development, implementing the executive drawings, the all-project documentation (from pre-feasibility studies to detail design documents which the test plan or whatever other required) and the required product documentation. Carrying out preliminary tests for design pre-validation, analyze the quality and reliability of the product at the theoretical level as well. Supporting the Test Lab during all the testing phases, evaluate synthesis of reports of Test and Quality Laboratories and express your definitive opinion on validation of final product. Drawing up the technical documentation required for production of the electronic product and carry out activities to support and maintain the product when requested. You will join a talented team, where you will be able to thrive. Qualifications for the role You enjoy working with HW design in industrial applications and/or EMC product standards. You have at least 2 years' experience in design and analysis of power conversion topologies and analog signal conditioning/filter stages. You are qualified with Altium designer or equivalent and with PSPICE simulator. You are passionate about innovation and teamwork. Extensive knowledge of Electronics.
