With a view to creating added value for its customers in the following key areas: joint research and development projects, global supply capacity, project management, design authority, and procurement optimisation, it has decided to expand its internal organisation chart with the addition of a NAVAL ARCHITECT Goal is to create value for its customers through the following key areas: Joint research and development projects Prime Contractorship and Design Authority Procurement optimization Activities and Responsibilities The Naval Architect is an engineer that is experienced in Naval Architecture, able to master the key factors of success for a Naval Ship Design: Requirements Management using MS Excel and Doors (or Jazz); Pre-design phase, based on design key drivers; GA architecture (eventually from scratch) integrating the logics of multiple flows; Hull form design, including its generation using dedicated software; Hydrodynamics (through usage of various methods); Stability using dedicated software; Structure definition and scantling; Propulsion overall design. Besides, He/She should have a good knowledge of Naval Vessels, especially Surface Combatant Classes, and Class Rules (in particular Naval ones). REQUIREMENTS Master’s Degree in Naval Architect and Marine Engineering; Professional English (speaking, writing, and reading); Mastering CAD software, in particular Rhinoceros, Autocad, Maxsurf (Microstation and Aveva Marine would be a plus); Able to subcontract specific studies and work in a multinational context.
