Job Description
We are seeking a talented Robotics Software Engineer to join our team at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) in Genoa. As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will work on the development of modern robotics control and perception planning techniques for industrial applications.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing software solutions for robot control, perception, and planning. You will collaborate with electronics, mechanical, and software engineers to achieve common research goals.
The iRonCub project is a key focus area within the iCub project, where we aim to make the humanoid robot fly. Additionally, you will contribute to the ergoCub project, a collaboration with INAIL aimed at human-robot collaboration.
To be successful in this role, you will have a Master's degree in robotics engineering, computer science, or a related field. Good communication skills and the ability to cooperate are essential, as well as a creative and proactive attitude. Proficiency in English language (written and oral) is required.
